We use a plugin called Statpress SEOlution which immediately gives a site unique visitors, pageviews, referring sites and even keywords that people have used to reach your WordPress website. I know you can get the same data and even more with Google Anlaytics but this is up to the second and when clicking on a most recent keyword that someone searched it takes you to the actual search results page where the person searching found your website.

The developer of Statpress SEOlution is suppose to be developing a new version under another name;

Why I stopped development? I got a lot of feature request and improvement input – so I decided to rewrite the plugin completely new because there are some old fashioned and foreign structures in code and tables. With a new code base it is easier for me to develop the plugin.

New statistic plugin will be developed under Statscraft. Maybe bookmark or wait for a notice here.

However, until then we continue to add it to every WordPress website design and when logging into each site have this as a tool to see how people find us and shows prospective clients we know what we are doing to help them being locally searched as well.

Two most recent keywords that  have no Google Keyword data of searches but still are relevant to what we are were “digital marketing agency for small business” and “local digital marketing agency“. As I mentioned using Google’s Keyword Tool with an “Exact” match shows no search data however people found us on Google this way. It’s also a great way to find opportunity to rank for other terms that might not be as competitive even though “local digital marketing agency” shows over 8.1 million results on Google and “digital marketing agency for small business” shows 50.2 million results we are credible enough to be a ranked a respectable 9th and 7th for these keyword phrases with some other heavy hitters in the internet marketing industry.
